Thanks for Visiting!

Welcome to the official website of thriller author Michael Laurence. (That’s me, in case you were wondering.) Thanks for stopping by and checking out my killer website, courtesy of the wonderfully talented bunch at AuthorBytes. Feel free to poke around and see what you find. While there isn’t a whole lot of meat on these bones just yet, the coming months will see the release of my debut thriller, The Extinction Agenda (St. Martin’s Press, 2019), and its sequel, Mass Casualty Event (St. Martin’s Press, 2020). I hope to provide sporadic entertainment in the form of scintillating blog posts and the occasional informative mailer. Who knows? I might even throw in a few tips for new writers.

    Michael,

I loved your book, when will the next book on the series come out?

Hey, thanks for dropping a line, Harvey! I’m thrilled you enjoyed the book. If all goes according to plan, THE ANNIHILATION PROTOCOL will be released August 27th, 2020. The cover art will be revealed tomorrow at Criminal Element. Take care!

I just finished the Elimination Threat & was wondering when the fourth book in the series was coming out.

Hey, Ben! I’m glad you liked The Elimination Threat. Unfortunately, it’ll be a while before the fourth book is released and we get to experience F3’s wrath. I sold the series in mid 2016, in a much different political climate. At the time, the publisher was hugely excited about the idea of a deep state entity and its monstrous plan to profit from a global pandemic of its own design. Following the election of Donald Trump? Not so much. And once COVID hit, SMP washed its hands of the series. So…I wait until the rights revert to me so I can re-release the first three books and launch the fourth. I’m sorry I can’t offer better news, but I truly appreciate your taking a chance on books from an unknown author (although I’ve been publishing as Michael McBride for nearly two decades). I hope you know how much that means to me. I look forward to continuing the series as soon as I’m able.
